The English, Technical Communication, and Media Arts Department combines the literature and composition focus of a traditional English department with the information architecture and design focus of a technical communication department. In addition, we offer courses in music, visual arts, drama, and public speaking. Our nationally recognized faculty are involved in a range of scholarly activities covering a broad spectrum of professional interests. They are also dedicated to the classroom, applying state-of-the-art teaching methods and real-world experience to enhance student learning.
