Donna McPherson is the Program Assistant in the English, Technical Communication, and Media Arts Department at Southern Polytechnic State University. She has been employed with the ETCMA Department since 1995 and is well respected by the faculty, staff, and students. Donna enjoys working with the students and is an asset to the Department. During her tenure here at SPSU, Donna has served on several committees. Currently, she is serving on Staff Council. Donna is also an accomplished musician. Her favorite style of music is Southern Gospel. Although she plays a variety of instruments, the piano is her favorite. She played the piano and sang with a Christian band from 1985-2000. She still plays the piano every Sunday for her home church. Donna is a Georgia native and currently resides with her husband, Keith, and two daughters, Amber and Alexandria, only five miles from where she spent her childhood. Her family enjoys spending time together, singing, walking, and fishing. Their favorite getaway spot is Dillard, Georgia.
